Alright…. I have to retract my previous statement about location.
I probably don’t need to justify my decision… but I am going to just so you guys know why.
June - Move to Seattle.
October - Fly back to east coast for wedding/honemoon.
Between all that - house shopping at the house store.
So unfortunately I will need to relocate the Thanksgiving Tumblrdown/Tweetup to the Left Coast.
I will find a venue as soon as I have boots on the ground in Washington. If you guys have any requests and/or great ideas please let me know and I will see what I can dig up.
Otherwise you’re all subject to my poor decisions.
There are a lot of things going on!!
Ashleigh and I will be moving to Seattle in June……… and my career is winding down in the next 24 (ish) months. I will be heavily involved in school while working and trying to de-institutionalize myself and blend into civilian life.
BUT TUMBLR THANKSGIVING WILL BE HELD!! ON THE EAST COAST EVEN!!
It’s an easy flight back and we can coordinate stuff from the left coast.

So I’ve had a thought for the past couple of days about having a Thanksgiving get together for Tumblr, so I’m goign to push forward with it.
A and I have talked and we thought having it up in North Carolina would be a pretty decent spot as it would be a little more centrally located for the East Costers (sorry left coast).
The propsed spot would be Winston-Salem, but of course that is subject to change as we get a little closer to the 11th hour.
I welcome all input from those of you who have put shit like this together before! Other than gleaning ideas from watching a few of you in the past I’m all ears.
At this point I’m thinking that two weekends before the actual holiday would be good so as not to interfere with anyone’s actual holiday plans. That looks to be on or about 10 November, 2012.
